Sota la catifa (‘Under the carpet’)

In most homes, under the carpet, you can find all sorts of leftovers that have accumulated over time. Unless someone specifically puts them there every time they sweep so that the floor shines like the first day.

WC Teatre presents a satirical comedy where the miseries of some “peculiar” neighbors come to light. Stereotypes, shame, prejudice and stench are portrayed in this interesting meeting of neighbors.

And you? Are you hiding something, under the carpet?

WC Teatre is a small theater company created in 2016 whose aim is to be able to enjoy the magic of the theater and to make the audience enjoy it.

The project is amateur and simple. The company adapts to many types of scenarios with different styles: gestural humor, clowning, comedy, vaudeville. They are even capable of doing something serious…but only something.

From 2016 until now they have participated, also as organizers, in multiple galas and children’s theater courses throughout the Girona regions, presenting works such as Perdedors (‘Losers’), L’electe (‘The Elect’), El sopar dels idiotes (‘The dinner game’) and, right now, Sota la catifa.
